Clear Lake’s Fourth of July celebration kicked off Friday evening with music in City Park and Evans United Shows on the midway. The screams of carnival thrill seekers could be heard above the music of Rubber Soul, a Beatles tribute band playing in the bandshell. Hundreds of people filled park benches and lawn chairs to enjoy the show. The carnival opens at noon each day until Friday, July 6.
