West Fargo City Commissioner Bryan Schultz is preparing his application. He says he'll be a candidate for the manager's job at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. Schultz now heads up the sports marketing commission for the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau. He's a former chairman of the West Fargo Chamber of Commerce and has worked at various events on the fairgrounds, including the Big Iron equipment show. It will be his third try for the manager's job. The Red River Valley Fair board's executive committee is cutting ties with the current manager, Wayne Venter. He was hired nine months ago.
