When she was a child, Jamie Lubenko remembers accompanying her grandfather to the fair, running in and out of "the office," and always having a blast. It's part of the family, Lubenko said of the Amador County Fair. Lubenko is vice president of the newly formed Amador Fair Foundation. She fondly remembers her grandfather, Harold Colburn, and his dedication to the fair. He was a fair board member for several years, she said. This, Lubenko added, "absolutely influenced me."
