Here's today's schedule for the Florida Strawberry Festival. Today, patrons 60 and older get $2 off the gate admission of $10 all day. 10 a.m.: Gates open All day: Poultry and rabbit shows, CF Industries Ag Tent 10:30-11:30 a.m.: Jimmy Sturr and Orchestra, GTE FCU Soundstage 11:30 a.m.: Senior Citizens Drawing, GTE FCU Soundstage Noon: Midway opens 3-11 p.m.: Ride-A-Thon; a wristband purchased at the midway for $17 entitles the wearer to ride most mechanical rides. 3:30 p.m.: George Jones, GTE FCU Soundstage 7 p.m.: Youth Swine Show, TECO Livestock Arena 7:30 p.m.: Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, GTE FCU Soundstage The festival grounds are at 2202 W. Reynolds St., Plant City. Admission prices at the gate are $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Children 5 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
