State Fair Arena work to start in March | NewsOK.com.
The project is part of an overhaul of State Fair Park, funded by a voter-approved 2004 increase in the city’s hotel tax. The renovations will include better disability access, new finishes in parts of the arena and repairs to deteriorating concrete columns in some portions of the building. Construction will begin next month and is expected to be finished by May.
